Three Tears Karate

Welcome to Three Tears Karate Gifts and Accessories!

Posted by Lia Wilson on

As a martial arts student or family member of a martial arts student, have you found yourself searching site by site trying to find gifts to give a new black belt or sensei? If you experienced frustration at finding the same mass-produced, imported items that didn't quite hit the mark for a serious gift that reflects the hard work and dedication of a teacher or student, you will understand the reason for this site.

Upon receiving my shodan (first degree black belt) I painstakingly searched the web, scouring it for sensei gifts that reflected the appreciation I had for my instructors' selfless, patient guidance as I came up through the ranks. Being severely disappointed in the lack of high-quality karate related items, I decided to have some made. That was the spark that brought this site to life. I couldn't be the only one frustrated by a sea of poly-resin characters and picture frames too generic to give for a special occasion like rank advancement.

The goal of this site is to provide other karateka (and students of other styles) an avenue for finding unique, high-quality items with traditional themes. Many are handmade by artisans in the US--stained glass karate figurines with a bo, etched stone candle holders with karate kanji, traditional symbols like the Okinawan three tears, to name a few.

And, you'll find many of our products can be customized, such as names hand-painted in calligraphy by a Japanese artist, picture frames etched with a name and date (and rank, if desired), stainless steel keychains with traditional karate designs personalized with a name and message and more.

We are happy to serve dojos too with customized items with the school logo made available to students. And we are always willing to create custom items upon request.

Take a look around and please send your comments and requests. I look forward to hearing from you.
